Jean-Pascal van OverbekeChief Consumer Market
Jean-Pascal van Overbeke (born 1965) has extensive strategic, commercial and operational experience at several telecom companies around the world. In addition, he has broad expertise in the digital transformation of telecom companies. He joined KPN on September 1, 2018 and was appointed a member of the Board of Management as Chief Consumer Market on December 1, 2019.
Jean-Pascal holds a degree in Historical Sciences from Leuven University. After graduating, he worked in several positions at Mobistar. His subsequent positions included Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Orange Group and Deputy Group CEO of Lebara. Prior to joining KPN, he served as Executive Director of SFR.
As Chief Consumer Market, he oversees the day-to-day operations of KPN in the consumer market and is partly responsible for the company’s commercial strategy. He is also in charge of the digitalization of the service to customers and of improving the customer experience at KPN.
The best thing about KPN is, in his opinion, that he can work every day on his passions: digitalization and innovation. He follows all the trends in these areas and is a passionate gamer.
