Marieke Snoep

Chief Business Market and interim Chief Consumer Market

Marieke Snoep (born 1971) has extensive strategic and commercial experience in the Dutch telecommunications market. She was appointed a member of the Board of Management of KPN as Chief Business Market on December 1, 2019.

Marieke worked as a consultant at Solvision (now Ordina) and Atos Origin after completing her Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After 2002 she held various management positions at T-Mobile. She was member of the Executive Board as Chief Operations Officer (for all business and consumer brands) and Chief Business Market as from 2012, and Chief Consumer Market as from 2017, until she joined KPN.

As Chief Business Market, she is responsible for KPN’s activities on the business market and she determines the company’s commercial strategy in the business domain; the one-stop-shop for the wholesale market and SMEs for safe, flexible, future-proof networks and the ability to work with others in the cloud, anywhere, anytime. On a day-to-day basis she is committed to creating value for businesses in the Netherlands, including innovations and secure ICT solutions to increase the cyber resilience of public authorities and of organizations.

Marieke is a member of the board of VNO-NCW, a member of the Raad van Anders (advisory board) of NLdigital, an active member of and a mentor at nlgroeit, a platform that helps Dutch SME entrepreneurs grow.

The best thing about KPN is, in her opinion, the impact that we make every day with our technology and experts on businesses in the Netherlands. And also the role that KPN plays, together with clients and partners, in helping the Netherlands make progress in social themes such as reducing the CO2 footprint and keeping healthcare accessible through digitalization. She believes that ‘together we can take on every challenge’. #proudofKPN
