KPN has taken note of the notification by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets
(“AFM”), which indicates that América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (“AMX”) has reduced its stake
in KPN to below 3% as per 12th February 2024. The reduction is related to the expiration of
AMX exchangeable bond under which AMX has the opportunity to deliver shares in KPN to
the holders of this bond upon receipt of exchange notices. This marks the end of a twelve-
year period in which AMX was KPN’s largest shareholder.
